Career Assessment
For many clients it is very helpful to participate in a formal, structured career assessment that assists in identifying future career direction. We use a combination of online personality assessments (e.g. the Five Factor Model) to identify a client’s core competencies and workplace preferences. Clients then undertake interactive computer program that generates a range of career options based upon interests and preferences. An action plan can then be developed to identify steps to research these options.
Career Direction and Advancement Coaching
Clients often need specific skills, knowledge, and attitudes to help them to develop a direction and focus for identifying a new career path. Our personal coaching assists the client to identify, articulate and pursue career goals.
Job Search Skills
Resume Preparation
Traditional resumes which simply list work experience and training are not very successful in today’s employment market. A successful resume must highlight the relevant skills and accomplishments which are being marketed. We assist our clients to identify and articulate these skills and achievements.

Selection Criteria Coaching
Career Advantage teaches a structure and process for responding to the selection criteria that enables clients to best demonstrate how they could meet all requirements. Clients may be provided with a workbook for reference and editorial assistance in drafting and refining the application.
Interview Preparation
Job applicants can significantly improve their chance of being offered the position for which they are interviewing if they have received coaching about mental preparation and content preparation for the interview
